Spooktacular Job Fair & Employer Resource Expo in Deming - October 29, 2024

New Mexico Workforce Connection, the City of Deming, and Deming Luna County Economic Development Department are hosting an Employer Resource Expo and Spooktacular Job Fair in Deming on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Deming City Hall, 1275 E. Pine St., Deming, NM.


The Employer Resource Expo is from 1:00 p.m to 2:30 p.m.

In this session, New Mexico Finance Authority, United States Department of Agriculture, and New Mexico Economic Development Department will have 30 minutes respectively to give an overview of their most utilized programs that lead to employer success in expansions and new developments.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Employers who want to expand their business or learn about programs that may help reduce overall operational costs with tax incentives or job training assistance.

2:30 pm. to 3:00 p.m.: Individual Q&A with resource entities and employers.

In this session, employers will have the opportunity to visit with on-site presenting agencies on specific projects or questions pertaining to their business.


The Spooktacular Job Fair is from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.


Both events are FREE to employers and job seekers! Local agencies are also welcome to provide information on services available to the community.

REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED

All registrants will be provided with two chairs.

YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN TABLE.

Free Wi-Fi will be available throughout the building.

Space will be available for on-the-spot interviews. Let us know if you plan to interview.

Employers/Local Agencies can arrive and begin set up at 12:30 p.m.
