Through the Youth Services program at New Mexico Workforce Connection, Ms. Padilla was placed at Roots Counseling in Truth or Consequences, NM where she is gaining paid work experience. Being part of the Roots Counseling team has allowed Ms. Padilla to start her journey towards helping the families of New Mexico. She is working on obtaining her High School Equivalency certificate. Once completed, she plans to attend college in New Mexico pursuing a degree that allows her to continue helping the families that need it most.
